Skills

WRITING: Wrote for newspapers, magazines (including columns), online publications and broadcast style. 

 

BROADCAST: Broadcast style, both editing and writing.  Audio editing in Garage Band, Adobe Audition and Audacity.  

 

DESIGN: Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop.  Designed layouts for newspapers and magazines, including covers, front pages, feature pages and infographics.

 

SUPERVISION: Produced shows at WUOM and IMPACT radio, ran the KDLG newsroom in the absence of a news director,prepared newscasts, edited and perfected publications, provided support for my coworkers.

Journalism Major focus in Visual Communication.  

My education focused on broadcast journalism and communication development. I attended a study abroad program in Spain, both Barcelona and Madrid, that focused on visual communications.
